The Kevin Prater Band
This concert and fundraiser is presented in partnership with the Mohawk Valley Bluegrass Association.
Friday, October 23rd
7 pm - 9 pm
Kevin Prater, Owner/Leader of The Kevin Prater Band, for over 46 years has shared his passion of traditional bluegrass around the world. Twice Kevin has been honored and awarded by the great State of Kentucky for protecting and promoting the music that has made Kentucky famous.
Every member of The Kevin Prater Band plays multiple instruments and contributes to the band vocally. Kevin Prater is master of the mandolin, but can be found playing any instrument. On fiddle, from Reader, WV. is Mallory Hindman. Mallory also sings lead and harmony vocals. Mega talented Dalton Smith of Alderson, WV. fills the guitar position, but willing plays anything Kevin hands him to play. Codie Allen of Campbellsville, KY. on banjo and harmony vocals. Codie is also a great songwriter as the world will learn when the next CD releases. Last, certainly not least, a great vocalist and musician, Larry Cadle of Galion, OH.
