We care a lot about supporting artists. That means paying our teachers and performers fairly, opening our space to the community for events like our member art show, and creating programs like our artist residency to provide space and stipends to artists whose stories have often been underrepresented in the art world.
Like most non-profits, we can’t fund this work with programming alone. That’s why we rely on a combination of grant funding, memberships, and donations from people like you to keep the arts alive in CNY. Thank you!

For the first time in over 30 years, we have launched a capital campaign for the art center. The RAISE THE ROOF campaign will allow us to address two top priorities: 1. Make urgently needed renovations and repairs to the roof and windows; 2. Build an exciting new culinary arts program in response to community interest. Our goal for this once-in-a-generation campaign is to reach $500,000 by June 2023. We hope you will support the campaign with a donation— every dollar given up to $100,000 was matched by an anonymous donor! Your gift today keeps us on track to meet our goal.

We have established an Agency Fund with the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties as another way to give to support community arts through the RAISE THE ROOF campaign.

Donations of any amount help us to fund our range of programming:
Any amount you can afford is enough to help cover essential operations like the cost of printing fliers, running our email services, keeping our lights on, and more.
$50 - Is enough to cover the cost of three months of web hosting or an order of fresh art supplies for our studio.
$100 - Is enough to cover two new lights for our gallery, or two buckets of paint to freshen up our exterior.
$500 - Is enough to cover the whole travel and food stipend for one artist in our Artist Residency Program.
$750 - Is enough to cover the ticketing shortfall of bringing a nationally touring concert act to our intimate venue for KAC Live!
