In this hands-on three-week series, you will learn how to make several traditional dumplings from scratch and discover how versatile these humble dishes can be. Dumplings can be served as a comforting side dish alongside hearty meals or enjoyed as a main dish with a delicious sauce and a fresh side salad.

Each week we will focus on a different type of dumpling, learning techniques, tips, and classic ways to serve them. By the end of the series, you will feel confident making these delicious German favorites at home for family and friends.

Week 1: Potato Dumplings – Kartoffelknödel

Learn how to prepare traditional potato dumplings from scratch. We will shape, cook, and serve these classic dumplings the way they are enjoyed with hearty German dishes.

Week 2: Bread Dumplings – Semmelknödel

A delicious way to transform simple bread into soft, flavorful dumplings. We will prepare classic bread dumplings and pair them with a rich gravy.

Week 3: Small Dumplings – Spätzle and Grießklößchen

In our final class, we will make two beloved German favorites: tender homemade Spätzle and delicate semolina dumplings often served in soup.
