Children's Theater Camp

August 4th - August 8th 10 am - 1 pm with a performance for parents on Saturday, August 9th

A Summer theater workshop for kids ages 5-10.

Kids will be taught acting skills, prop and costume making, and more! This 5 day workshop will include acting games, creating their own props and costumes, and will end in a performance of a short play for the parents!

DAY ONE-

• Warm up with name games

• Play acting games

• Assign roles, read script

• Brainstorm prop/costume ideas 

DAY TWO-

• Craft day- Create props and costumes

• Talk about the importance of different jobs in theater (actors, stage crew, tech crew, prop makers)

DAY THREE-

• Acting games

• Practice play

DAY FOUR-

• Acting games 

• Practice play 

DAY FIVE-

• Acting games

• Dress rehearsal
