KAC Policies

All class registration prices include a 10% processing fee. This is a non-negotiable process fee, included in class payment, that will not be refunded if participant cancels or misses their class.

Cancellations by the Kirkland Art Center

If the Kirkland Art Center cancels a class due to insufficient enrollment, registered students will be notified by email 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time and will be offered a choice of credit toward another class or a refund in full for the class.

The Kirkland Art Center follows the Clinton Central School District for all weather-related closings. In the event that a class or workshop is canceled due to inclement weather or other emergency, a refund, credit, or rescheduled class date will be offered.

Cancelations by Participants and Missed Classes

Registrants who give at least 72 hours notice (prior to the scheduled class time) may choose a credit or refund for 90% of the cost of the class.

Cancelations made less than 72 hours before the start date are not eligible for a refund, nor are prorates given for late registration, missed classes, or partial attendance.

Refund checks may take up to 2-4 weeks to process. Credit card payments will be credited to the cardholder’s account.

Damaged or Forgotten Works

Finished artwork will be held at the KAC for 60 days past the announced pickup date.

We are not responsible for damaged items left unattended or any damages that occur during or caused by the finishing process. The potential for damage is part of the artistic process and is often beyond our control.

These policies are put into place with our instructors’ and staff’s best interests in mind.

Scheduling, preparation, and supplies are invested in each participant who chooses the KAC!
